BIO INNOVATIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES IN MEDICINE AND ENGINEERING
The BIOMETM project involves collaboration of graduate students from different disciplines working together to identify a current problem and to provide solutions through a combination of engineering, business, biology and medicine. Students work with the UW Medical School, UW Hospital or biomedical companies to identify a specific area of possible improvement.
Students will be accepted into the program based on their interest in the course and relevant background and experience. Students of all majors are encouraged to apply. Students may be able to take the course for one or two semesters.
